Not a Drill, No Fire
By Kylee Hinkle

Many guesses soon were thrown out. One student guessed that maybe it was a Chemistry lab gone wrong. Another thought maybe something went wrong in the cooking rooms.
After the bell to go back to class rang, Mr. Joel Hudson, West High Principal, came over the intercom and said that the smoke detectors detected something in the air setting off the fire alarms, but firefighters were still trying to find the cause.
"It is safe to be in the school now," he told the students. "Firefighters are working with the staff to find the problem so it can be fixed right away."
