Quill & Scroll, Class of 2018

The Wichita West High Journalism Department would like to announce the newest members of the national high school journalism honor society, Quill and Scroll. This year, West High is inducting 11 students.
To become a member, students must be a junior or senior with at least two years in journalism classes and an overall GPA that falls in the top third of their graduating class.

"We've got an incredible group of students in the department this year," said Journalism teacher and Newspaper/Yearbook advisor Pilar Pedraza. "I was honestly surprised we weren't inducting the whole class!"
The induction ceremony will be at the district Administrative Center at 903 S. Edgemoor in the auditorium on Wednesday, April 25th. It begins at 7 and should last about an hour. It will include students from all of the Wichita high school journalism programs being honored.
