Winter Spirit Week

Show Your Spirit, Support Your Basketball Team

 

        Winter Homecoming is next week at Wichita West High School.  There will be activities throughout the week, chances for the Pioneer student body to show it's spirit and support the Basketball Team.

          Since Spirit Week falls over the Valentine's Day holiday and is the same week as Random Acts of Kindness Week, those themes are part of the fun, too.

          There will also be two Academy Time competitions.  One will be for decorating doors as memes!  Must be completed Thursday.  Winners will be judges at the pep rally on Friday. The other will be a Heart Scavenger Hunt.  There will be hearts posted around the school with numbers 1 through 20.  The AT class that locates the most hearts will win a Krispy Kreme Doughnut Party.

          Be prepared to shout your lungs out in the class spirit chant competition at the pep rally.  Then dance the night away with your loved one Friday night at the Homecoming Dance from  7 to 10pm in the Link.  Tickets are $5 now, $10 if you buy them at the door.  They'll be sold at lunch throughout the week.

     Monday: Show your love of comfort!  Wear your comfor sweats or favorite winter PJs.

     Tuesday: Show your love for your favorite sport!  Wear your favorite team jersey.  Don't forget to cheer on the basketball teams as they take on South High tonight!

     Wednesday: Show your love for Valentine's Day! Wear red, white and pink.

     Thursday: Show your love for your BFF!  Twin up with your best friend, dressing alike.

     Friday: Show your love for West High!  Wear your class color or favorite West High shirt.
